Cruising For Treats

The New Martinsville Parks and Recreation Department will be holding a Cruise For Treats event on Howard Jeffers Drive (AKA Hydro Drive) on Sunday, October 31st from 2:00-4:00 PM. We will not be hosting Boo at Bruce this year, but we wanted to offer an alternative again this year that would minimize exposure and spread of COVID19.
Other than those participating in the event, the road will be closed to traffic. The program will be offered, free of charge, to children ages 12 and under. The children must be driven along the route by their parents, etc., while those handing out the treats are stationed on the sides. Children are not required to pre-register.
Additional information will be made available within the following weeks.
The department is now taking information from businesses, organizations, individuals, etc., who would like to hand out treats along the route. You MUST be registered on, or before, 2:00 PM Friday, October 22.
