Wellspring Family Services Ribbon-Cutting Set for August 3 in New Martinsville
New Martinsville, W.Va.: Wellspring Family Services—a fixture in the New Martinsville community—has relocated; however, residents will not have to look too hard to find its new place of business. The new site for Wellspring Family Services is 761 Third Street, across the street from its long-time location.
In celebration, Crittenton Services invites the community to attend an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, August 3, from 10am – 11am. Light refreshments will be served.
A Crittenton Community Program, Wellspring Family Services has been offering trauma-informed counseling to children, adults, and families in Tyler and Wetzel counties at the New Martinsville office for more than 20 years.
According to Richard Royse, President & CEO of Crittenton Services, the new location offers a welcoming environment, convenient parking, accessibility for those with mobility impairments, and the opportunity for expansion.
“Wellspring Family Services has strong and deep roots in New Martinsville,” said Royse. “We are proud to be a part of the community and thankful for the support of local schools, businesses, and social service agencies.”
Royse credited the Harry E. and Olive T. Barth Charitable Trust and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 141for their help with the renovation of the new office space. “Funding from the Barth Foundation enabled us to finish the fire escape, and a much-needed electrical upgrade was made possible by an in-kind donation of labor and materials by the IBEW 141. We cannot thank these fine organizations enough for their help and look forward to recognizing them at the ribbon cutting.”
In addition to New Martinsville, Wellspring Family Services also has offices in Huntington, Morgantown, Weirton, and Wheeling and serves the entire state of West Virginia using teletherapy. Crittenton Services is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) for the highest standards of professional practice.
